There are a variety of ways to generate hype at each step of the creation process on Foundation. Let's explore these different methods!

Twitter Strategy

When you deploy your collection or start minting NFTs, getting the word out is important so collectors can jump in and support you. Currently, most of the Web3 community is very active on Twitter. They are constantly sharing new ideas, crowdsourcing feedback, and rallying support for the artists in their collections. We highly recommend joining Twitter and using it regularly to cultivate a collector base for your NFT art practice. Twitter can be very helpful for getting your story out there and providing important social context around your work.

Many artists link to their profile in their Twitter bios and add a line that their art is on @foundation, which makes it easy for collectors to find you.

Share your work on social media before minting

Before you mint your NFT, it's a good idea to create some buzz around it by teasing that you'll be releasing a new piece on @foundation. This way, people can keep their eyes peeled for it. You can even give a sneak peek of the artwork before officially minting it to gauge the audience's interest. You can inform your previous collectors about your new release by sending them a direct message.

Once you've minted your NFT and listed it for auction, share the image and include the reserve price in ETH. Keep the audience engaged by adding more details about the artwork and your creative process. Consider posting your tweets in a thread to make it easier for people to follow along.

Sharing your creative process

Sharing the creative process of artwork can increase collector interest. Time-lapse videos and screenshots of the work in progress can be shared.
